Kaho and Shunya

Kaho hanging out at Odaiba's beach.

Playing with sand.  Sand is not overrated.

Shunya Masumoto, future sumo wrestler.

Cruising Around Tokyo

Rainbow Bridge, Odaiba

Checking out the semi around Odaiba.  Semi make a signature "summer sound." These arthropods spend the majority of their lives underground.  During their brief time above ground, semi can be heard, caught, and collected.

If you look really hard you can see Fujisan.  Mt. Fuji can be seen more clearly in the winter, when the sky isn't so hazy.

Yebisu Garden Place
Across the street from Ebisu Station.  A short walk from my cousin Tatsuya's house.
Built on the former site of a beer brewery, Yebisu Garden Place is the host to various entertainment events.  Morrissey was here earlier this year.

Miyajima

Miyajima's torii.  I really enjoy the island's relaxed feel.  During my stay I went clamming, swam in the umi, ate fresh homemade pan, hiked Mt. Misen, and cruised around with family.

View from Itsukushima Shrine.

Hanging out in Michiko Obachan's car.

Jinrikisha

Took a ride on a Japanese rickshaw.

Bitchin' hair.  Went clamming on the beach ahead later that day.
